The ceremony is the only part of a wedding where everyone is gathered for the same reason, focused on the same words, and marking the same moment together. I help couples make that part count.

You’ve found your person and are planning a day to celebrate your love. You’re looking beyond the traditional script for something that reflects the two of you. If you feel unsure about how or where to begin, you’re not alone!

You don’t need to fit a template, and you don’t need to perform for anyone. Your ceremony should reflect who you are, in words that feel true, not borrowed. My ceremonies are all written from scratch, so I don’t have a formula for you. But I do have a plan to help you figure out what you want.

I’m Katherine Hunter, a non-religious wedding officiant serving the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas.

I work with couples who want a ceremony that reflects who they actually are: not a script, not a performance, and not something borrowed from tradition unless it genuinely fits.

How It Works

Let's Chat

We’ll arrange a time for the three of us to meet (virtually) so we can get acquainted and see if there’s a good fit. During our complimentary discovery consultation, I won’t just listen. I’ll help you find the words you didn’t know you had.
Planning

If we move forward from there, you’ll get access to my library of materials, answer detailed questionnaires, and have me as a resource for all things pertaining to your ceremony. I’ll make our collaborative process stress-free and enjoyable!
Revisions

I’ll take some time to reflect on our meeting and your questionnaire responses, and then write a first draft for your review. You’ll tell me exactly what you like, and what you’d like to improve. Your honest feedback is never a correction, it’s the core of making the ceremony feel right.
The Details

In the lead up to your wedding day, I will keep you on track, guide you through the little details you never thought to consider, and prepare you in many ways for your big day. We’ll meet again for a virtual rehearsal. This meeting ensures that every aspect of your ceremony is as you would like it to be and sets the stage for your physical rehearsal.
Wedding Day

On your wedding day, you’ll both be excited - and at ease! I will give a professional and joyful presentation of your exceptional ceremony, and make everyone feel included. Afterward, your marriage license will be properly filed with the courthouse.
